Amazon product validation before you commit to inventory
Have a product idea? Build a reasoned Go/No-Go decision by reviewing the evidence, challenging assumptions, and identifying what still needs to be checked.
Still organizing your idea and assumptions? Start with the Free Reality Check. It highlights missing inputs and questions to investigate using only what you enter; it does not verify demand or produce a Full Decision.
Five questions to ask before placing an order
These are validation steps, not evidence that any particular product will succeed.
Market evidence
What supports the opportunity, and what challenges it?
Review the available marketplace evidence alongside competition and the limits of the data. A promising idea still needs evidence that is relevant to the product you intend to sell.
Customer problems
Which customer problem would your product solve?
Look for specific problems in the available customer evidence. Separate recorded complaints from assumptions about what a new product could improve.
Demand signals
Is the interest relevant, current, and supported?
Consider available demand signals and their timestamps. Search interest alone does not establish sales, conversion, or willingness to pay.
Costs and assumptions
Which costs could change the decision?
Check supplier quotes, shipping, fees, advertising, returns, and other relevant costs before ordering. Treat estimates as assumptions to verify, not guaranteed margins.
Supplier and sample validation
Can a sample meet the requirements you have recorded?
Ask suppliers for evidence of capability. Use the requirements and validation criteria saved in your report to prepare questions and sample checks where those details are available.
Turn research into an explainable decision
SkepticalProof brings available evidence, risks, and validation steps into a Full Decision report. Review the evidence chain and recorded provider status, then use the explanation to decide what to investigate next.
Saved reports can be reopened. When a report contains product requirements and validation criteria, its Supplier Validation Pack provides copyable supplier questions and sample checks. Missing information remains visible rather than being filled with invented specifications.
Missing evidence is a reason to investigate
A pending or failed provider status is not proof that a market lacks demand. Evidence already saved in a report and its recorded provider status are shown separately. Check what is available, what is missing, and what would change your decision.
A Go decision does not guarantee sales or profitability. Verify supplier claims, sample quality, applicable requirements, and your own costs before making a commitment.
